Dr. Robert Skarperud, ND, MS, has practiced at what's now called Blue Star Integrative Medicine in Bend since 2005, taking over the practice (originally Blue Star Clinic, founded 1989) alongside co-practitioner Dr. Laurie Grisez around 2013 when its founder retired. He holds an ND from Bastyr University, an MS in Human Nutrition from Tufts University (1998), and a BS in Zoology from the University of Washington. He served two consecutive terms — six years total — on the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine, from 2016 to 2022.
